Forgiveness and Sin
Secret 2 the Promises is a book that can direct you in the word.
Here is a little from the book on forgiveness and sin.

Everybody needs a special cemetery, to bury the faults of friends and loved ones, especially those who have hurt us.
Eph.4:32 Be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ sake hath forgiven you.
Letting go, so you can move on with your life.
Eph.4:31,32 "let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice;
and be ye kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another,
even as God for Christ sake hath forgiven you"
“The pain in our heart, makes it hard to put on a smile, yet when the tears are done, seeds of weeping are sown. The pains are watered by our mourning, they are tilled and nourished by forgiving and by our living…” Jim Bowline 2000.

   Forgiveness may be an art to learn, yet it is your duty. Sin is the poison satan uses to murder your eternal life. God hates the sin and love’s the sinner.

   Joh 13:34  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Part of that loving is forgiveness. That is why getting along and how to fill one another love tank and Jesus’ commandment to love one another as you love yourself. He also said to put up with one another, meaning to don’t be so critical in others short coming or whatever they do that drives you crazy. Put up with it and let God handle it. Ask for change wherever it is needed.
    The first step is diplomacy in marriage or a relationship by letting the other have your way. Given in to stay in. LOL Now if we could just fulfill the second part of that commandment before we can love another. Forgiveness is the glue, God is the catalyst for a lasting relationship, and being a servant to one another is the curing process…

   Let me say something about our salvation and sin and our works. Everyone’s salvation depends upon one thing, Jesus Christ. He took our place and was our substitute, taking sin’s penalty (2 Corinthians 5:21); For deep understanding on sin and guilt, read Hebrews and ask God the true meaning of the book of Hebrews. He is our Savior from sin (John 1:29); He is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). The work necessary to provide salvation was fully accomplished by Jesus Himself, who lived a perfect life, He took God’s judgment for sin, and rose again from the dead (Hebrews 10:12). That is our salvation and all we have to do is believe it. Works is for building our character and preparing for being with Jesus for eternity and what we will be doing there. Yet life hear on earth goes on in our training up for Jesus. Learning to forgive and let go and be all you can be in Christ…. Obedient is the ticket and letting go of pride. Pride is the biggest problem we all encounter.
   The Bible is quite clear that our own works does not help earn our salvation. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done” (Titus 3:5). “Not of works” (Ephesians 2:9). “There is none righteous, no not one” (Romans 3:10). That old stuff of offering sacrifices, keeping the commandments, going to church, being baptized, and other good deeds are incapable of saving anyone, believe me there is a lot of people who believes this way. Yet the bible clearly states, no matter how “good” we are, we can never measure up to God’s standard of holiness (Romans 3:23; Matthew 19:17; Isaiah 64:6). The Bible is also just as clear that salvation is conditional; God does not save everyone, that is up to each person‘s choice, god does not force anyone. That is called free will. The one condition for salvation is faith in Jesus Christ. I read that something like it says something like 200 times in the New Testament, faith (or belief) is declared to be the sole condition for salvation (John 1:12; Acts 16:31).
   God's mercy is everlasting and has given us salvation and forgiveness. In offering our thanks for these unmerited gifts, shouldn't we be willing to also offer forgiveness to others? There is no possible way to compare our sin debt to God with another's sin debt to us. Yet, we can find ourselves thanking God for His forgiveness, and still withhold forgiveness from others.
   "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32. To forgive means 'to release from bondage or imprisonment, pardoning another as if the offense had never happened.' Several times Jesus emphasized that forgiving others is central in receiving our own forgiveness. Could you be limiting the forgiveness God might extend to you? "For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions." Matthew 6:14, 15 Please understand this does not take it from memory, God takes the pain out of the thought of it. Oh satan likes to keep bringing it up. Yet when you are truly delivered from it and you have truly let go, Abba takes the sword from it, He removes the pain. It is just a memory and forgiveness has set in.
