Lariat Ministries Credo
  Here on the Lariat Ranch one thing stand out the most in what we beleive; Php 3:8  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9  And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11  If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. In other words there is one thing that stands out most and it takes most people a life time to figure out or most of their life time. Which is the excelent knowledge of Jesus Christ, for the rest of of our wanting and everything we once thought we had going for us the "me" is completely insignificant-- B.S. (bull dung). For now we have dumped it into the compost pile, so that we can embrace Christ, we have learned to have the identity of Jesus. Which we call how to cowboy-up with Jesus.
   We don't throw our lasso around just any ole religion or thinkin. We embrace the "Way" that was taught by the disciples of Jesus. No rituals or traditions and holding on to the law, for we live by our personal trail boss, our "Holy Spirit" and the living word and washing in the sweet living waters of Jesus. By this thinking we may assertain what Jesus did for us.
  There is one thing that hold's flat landers and the lost back, it is the use of excuses. This what holds all of us back from everything in life worth livin, is excuses. Well I am not ready, no one likes me the way I am, I need to have just little more more fun. You have heard them there are hundreds of excuses. By the way I am here to tell you fun does not stop in being a Christian, and the great lesson is to blossom or prosper where you are planted, by relying on God.

WE BELIEVE… at Lariat Ministries
   In the divine inspiration of all the books of the Old and New Testaments as originally given, guaranteeing their total trustworthiness and absolute authority for faith and life; inspired Word of God (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). We hold the Bible to be inerrant (incapable of mistakes) in the original writings, infallible, God-breathed, and the complete and final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit was the divine author of Scripture (2 Peter 1:21).
   In one God who exists in three distinct entities. Which we address as the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in one Triune God, who is Creator of all (Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 1:16), eternally existing in three distinct Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14), yet one in being, essence, power and glory, having the same attributes and perfections (John 10:30). God is our creator (Genesis 1:1), is eternal (Psalm 90:2), infinite (1 Timothy 1:17), sovereign (Psalm 93:1) and unsearchable (Romans 11:33-34). God is omniscient (Psalm 139:1-6), omnipresent (Psalm 139:7-13), omnipotent (Revelation 19:6), and unchanging (Malachi 3:6). God is holy (Isaiah 6:3), just (Deuteronomy 32:4), and righteous (Exodus 9:27). God is love (1 John 4:8), gracious (Ephesians 2:8), merciful (1 Peter 1:3), and good (Romans 8:28).
That Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world. In the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His standing in for us and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and immutable, imminent return in power and glory; He is fully God, the expressed image of the Father, who, without ceasing to be God, became man in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man (Matthew 1:21; John 1:18; Colossians 1:15).

…Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins, our inequity in giving us a better promise, a new covenant explained in the book of Hebrews. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again. We believe that eternal salvation is found only by placing our faith in Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross. That salvation is a free gift of God entirely apart from works and is possessed by all those who have, by faith and learn on reliance on God, received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior; We believe that God the Son became incarnate in the person of Jesus Christ. He lived a perfect, sinless life; that all His teachings are true (Isaiah 14; Matthew 1:23). (1 John 2:2) as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice (Isaiah 53:5-6). We hold that His death gave the pwoer to improve the covenant for all who believe (John 1:12; Acts 16:31); that our justification is grounded in the shedding of His blood, in our whole salvation that wholeness of healing has complete salvation in all aspects of one‘s life. Grace unmeasured.  Mt.1:21; Mrk.5:34
(Romans 5:9; Ephesians 1:17); and that it is attested by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead    (Matthew 28:6; 1 Peter 1:3). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven in His glorified body (Acts 1:9-10) and is now seated at the right hand of God as our High Priest and Advocate (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25).
…that the Holy Spirit (Ghost) is a gift from God in our salvation to be with us, to love, comfort you, and in helping us understanding things we did not before, and teach us. Also that we may be the steward of the Gospel. Act 1:8  but ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Also to share the “good news”. He sensors our actions and speech through repoving us. (John 16:8-11). He regenerates sinners (Titus 3:5) and indwells believers (Romans 8:9). He is the agent by whom Christ baptizes all believers into His body (1 Corinthians 12:12-14). He is the seal by whom the Father seals believers unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14). He is the Divine Teacher who illumines believers’ hearts and minds as they study the Word of God (1 Corinthians 2:9-12).
... that there are angels. We believe in the reality and personality of angels. GW Psa 91:9  You, O LORD, are my refuge! You have made the Most High your home. 10  No harm will come to you. No sickness will come near your house. 11  He will put his angels in charge of you to protect you in all your ways. We believe that God created an innumerable company of these sinless, spiritual beings who were to be His servants and messengers (Nehemiah 9:6; Psalm 148:2; Hebrews 1:14). We also believe in the existence and personality of Satan and demons. Satan is a fallen angel who led a great company of angels into rebellion against God (Isaiah 14:12-17; Ezekiel 28:12-15). He is the great enemy of God and man, and the demons are his agents in his unholy purposes. He and his demons shall be eternally punished in the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10).
...We believe that man is God's creation just as the Bible tells it, creation that man is made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). We believe that the Adam & Eve (Romans 5:12), committed the first sin by satan beguiling them (Romans 3:23). We believe that all mankind, because of Adam's fall, has inherited a sinful nature. The begining of the family curse. That humanity cannot atone himself from sin (Eph 2:1-5,12). We believe that all men are guilty and in a lost condition apart from Christ (Romans 2:1). that all men and women are sinners by nature, that they cannot save themselves, and that salvation is possible only through the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit;
... We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross (Ephesians 2:8-9). Christ shed His blood to accomplish justification through faith, propitiation to God, redemption from sin, and reconciliation of man. Christ died for us (Romans 5:8-9) and bore our sins in His own body (1 Peter 2:24). We believe that all those who have truly placed their faith in Christ are eternally secure in their salvation, kept by God’s power, secure and sealed in Christ forever (John 6:37-40; 10:27-30; Romans 8:1, 38-39; Ephesians 1:13-14; 1 Peter 1:5; Jude 24).
...in personal realtionship constantly and consistently, with Jesus, in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life through every circumstance and to overcome the attacks of Satan; MSG.Luk 18:1  Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit. MSG  1Jn 4:15 Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God's Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God.
…water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and an outward testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for we are rewarded with a new nature. Then also will baptize you in the Holy Spirit will teach you about your old and new nature. It is being lowered into the water as the grave and brought back up in resurrection, rebirth.
That all people are sinners by nature, that they cannot save themselves, and that salvation is possible only through the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit;
…in the regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross on Calvary & commune with Him. Chuck wagon expeirence breaking bread with Jesus not only at church, when we feel the need or desire.
…the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine; not man’s doctrine or edited versions, and that we believe in evangelism and restoration and being careful of false doctrine.
…every believer should be in a growing intimate relationship with Jesus by obeying and using His living Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by renewing your mind daily & conformed to the image of Christ in our life time of experiences. Arming ourselves with Armor of God Daily.
…Finding our identity in Jesus Christ. Continually through out the day.MSG.Luk 18:1  Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit. MSG 1Jn 4:15 Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God's Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God.
…as children of God, that God has given us authority and dominion over the earth, that means the devil and his principality. Luk 10:19  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  To retrain our old selves from the ways of the world. We can rebuke and cast him out. Stand on his head anytime need be. Not to fear him at all.
… I do what God says I can do, I have what God says I can have, and I am who God says I am. I work at impressing God, not man.
… that God has the power to restore individuals to their fullest capacity and potential and health. Heb. 6:4; Psa. 51:10; Isa. 1:28; 2Ti. 2:25
… that we are over comers and more than conquerors, victors and not victims, and that God intends for each of us, to experience the abundant life He has in store for us, by being obedient, a good steward, and a shining light, to go fourth and be fruitful; John 15:5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:16  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
